Greenwich Park Love Story: What Your Engagement Session Could Look Like
Greenwich Park, London, the UK
I wanted to share with you my first photoshoot of a couple that I did. I will never forget it, and to this day, I still feel in my heart that it was one of the best sessions I’ve had. To be fair, I’m quite lucky to say that each of my sessions with my lovely clients feels special in my heart. But I’m rambling. Let’s start from where everything began for me—and, as a matter of fact, where everything began for my customers too.
One of these images will be on their wedding invitation card. How exciting is that?”
Greenwich Park is honestly one of the best locations you can choose for a photoshoot. It has wide open spaces, beautiful green trees and fields, stunning architecture like the Maritime Museum, peaceful river views, and a breathtaking panorama of the whole city. You can go from romantic nature shots to dramatic city views in just a few steps—so you get a really lovely variety, all in one place. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone who wants that mix of greenery and iconic London charm.
“Her passion for capturing special moments really shone through, and you can tell she loves what she does. The results? Absolutely stunning! The photos were not just pictures, but beautiful memories that we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for someone who is both professional and caring, I highly recommend Ann’s work. She truly made the experience unforgettable, and I couldn’t be happier with the photos!”

A few pieces of advice for your photoshoot
You and your partner can plan matching outfits. Omg, I can’t even emphasise enough how important that step is! I like to think of clothing as an opportunity to pamper yourself, instead of stressing and worrying. How incredible is it to spoil yourself—you deserve it!I’d say it’s best to bring two outfits so you can have more variety in the final gallery.
Timing is everything – either choose a morning photoshoot or go for golden hour. If you can avoid shooting in the middle of the day, definitely do it. The most flattering light is early in the morning or just before sunset.
If something’s on your mind, talk to your photographer.
Feeling unsure about a pose? Nervous about how you’ll look? Just say it! It’s completely normal, and your photographer is there to guide you, support you, and make sure you feel amazing throughout the session. And lastly—have fun with it.
Think of the shoot as a little celebration of you. An opportunity to see yourself in the best light, quite literally. Laugh, move, cuddle, be your lovely self. That’s where the magic happens.
At that point, we already had so many wonderful images, so we headed to the museum where my couple changed into their second outfit—just for a little break, some chats, and lots of laughs.
I really enjoy spending time with my lovely clients, so a 10–15 minute break is a must for me. Sometimes it can be a bit tiring to pose for a full hour, so if you ever feel like you need a moment to breathe, don’t be afraid to ask your photographer. It’s your session, and your comfort matters most.
